This Orono Multi-Bathroom remodel reimagines a series of bathrooms into a cohesive, design-forward collection—balancing soft modern finishes with layered textures and refined detailing. The goal was to elevate everyday spaces into a more intentional, spa-like experience while maintaining warmth, functionality, and long-term durability. Each bathroom was thoughtfully designed as its own moment while still tying into a consistent material palette and architectural language, where clean lines, curated fixtures, and a restrained color palette allow texture and craftsmanship to take center stage.

The primary bath was envisioned as a quiet retreat, anchored by a sculptural freestanding soaking tub set against large-format neutral tile that creates a clean, uninterrupted backdrop. A free standing tub enhances the minimal aesthetic, while matte black plumbing fixtures introduce contrast and a modern edge. Overhead, a statement chandelier adds a layer of softness and architectural interest. The walk-in shower features full-height tile, an integrated bench, and a recessed niche for seamless storage, all enclosed in minimal glass to maintain an open, airy feel. Underfoot, a dark hexagon tile floor grounds the space and introduces subtle movement, reinforcing the balance between warmth and modern restraint.

In the secondary bathroom, a cooler palette brings a fresh and tailored feel to the space. Vertically stacked blue tile draws the eye upward, adding height and rhythm while creating a distinctive feature within the shower enclosure. A frameless glass door with minimal hardware keeps the room feeling open and uncluttered. The custom vanity, finished in a clean shaker style, is paired with durable quartz countertops and an integrated backsplash, offering both longevity and a polished, transitional aesthetic. Neutral floor tile ties the space together, balancing the cooler tones with warmth and versatility suited for both guests and everyday use.

The powder room introduces a bold and unexpected design moment, wrapped in a crane-patterned wallpaper that brings movement, color, and personality into the home. Despite its smaller footprint, the space feels elevated and intentional through the use of a sculptural pedestal sink paired with a wall-mounted faucet, allowing the wallpaper to remain the focal point. Matte black lighting and hardware echo the finishes used throughout the home, creating continuity while still allowing this room to stand on its own as a distinct, design-forward feature.

Throughout the project, the design approach centered on contrast and cohesion—pairing soft neutrals with bold accents, clean architectural lines with organic textures, and minimalism with moments of personality. Materials were selected not only for their visual impact but for their durability and long-term performance, ensuring each space feels as functional as it is refined.
